Melbourne to Sydney ROADTRIP :) Updated!

Hi everyone,

I have completed my roadtrip to Sydney. What did i do you ask? ok, here goes..

I left Melbourne on Sunday afternoon to go to Lakes Entrance. That is a place where the sea meets the lakes in south east Victoria. I found a motel and had dinner there and a quiet night. The next day took a trip to eden where i went to Raymond Island. On Raymond Island there is a colony of koala´s. You can drive around on the island and try to spot the koala´s. I drove around for 2 hours and made several pictures of koala´s. I also met up with a half Dutch half Australian couple who own a cafe on Raymond Island. It is called Espa cafe. They invited me to have a cup of tea with them. That was very nice. They gave me a clip on koala for the rear view mirror and a fridge magnet of their cafe. I can recommend it!


Tuesday night i stayed at Maroona Where i decided to wait for a visit to Montague Island. I could not go there on wednesday because the tour was not on. So on wednesday i went canooing, played 18 holes of golf and went swimming. At night i got involved in a sit and go poker tournament at the local pub, doubling up my money (i won 10 dollers, Yeah).

On thursday I went to Montegue Island. That is a Nature reserve off the coast of Maroona. It has a population of seals, penguins and birds. It also has a light house. The tour was very nice and educational.

After the tour i drove to Kiama where i spent the night. In the morning, friday, i drove to sydney, moved in to Pink House and handed in my rental car. In the afternoon i took the big bus tour, seeing all the sights in the city and getting my feet onto the sand at Bondi Beach. I had dinner at pink house which was very enjoyable, the people there are a lot of fun. Tomorrrow we are all guestlisted for a club callled Chinese Laundrey. I will report to you again then and fill in the blanks on this message.
