Ruins, Lama´s and other animals

Hi All,
everybody doing well? I am wearing down my altitude sickness. With help of coca tea and 5 minutes of oxygen after the city tour of Cusco it has pretty much dissapeared. So i am feeling much better now.
The city tour was very nice. First you stop off at a place where you can take a pictur of lama´s and Alpaquas. The difference is in the wool. But both are camalites. Then we went to saxewan and three other Inca ruins to learn about their culture. The sun, mother earth (patchamama), the snake, the panther and the condor play a mayor role in this. After the shrines and the watchtower we went to Plaza de Armas, which is the main square in Cusco. We visited three very beautifull churches. After that they took me back to my hotel, where i got the oxygen and recovered.
Today I went on a tour to the sacred vally where Machu Picchu is. Currently i am a 2 hour train ride from Machu Picchu. I wil go there tomorrow.
First we stopped off at a market where they sold several nice memorabilia. I personally did not buy anything. Then we had lunch with traditional peruvian music which was very nice. After that we went to Ollyantamba where we visited the ruins. The ruins resemble the form of a lama, on of the signs in the inca Milky way. It is difficult to see, but a nice idea. We went up the ruins with the tourguide and got a good explanation. After the tour i was dropped off to my hotel. After signing in, i immediatly went back to the ruins to cover the other side that the tour did not. It had two interesting inca houses that were well preserved and a water temple. Worth going the extra mile for.
Now i am going to have dinner and a drink and then go to sleep, because i fear that tomorrow may be a long day at MP.
